Two downtown condominium towers earn another round of Milwaukee approvals

The 32-story 333 N. Water is among two downtown apartment tower proposals that received Plan Commission approval on Monday.

Two proposed downtown riverfront Milwaukee apartment towers have acquired an additional spherical of town approvals.

Both of those the 32-story 333 N. Drinking water, to be developed at North Drinking water Road and East St. Paul Avenue in the Historic Third Ward, and The Edison, a 15-story building coming to 1005 N. Edison St., won Plan Commission endorsements Monday.

Next will be a Widespread Council zoning review in September for 333 N. H2o, with The Edison now conference its location’s zoning specifications. Building is to begin in May well for 333 N. H2o, with The Edison to commence development potentially by the end of this calendar year.

The $140 million, 295-unit 333 N. Drinking water would just take 22 months to assemble, in accordance to its developer, Houston-based Hines Acquisitions LLC. It would substitute a parking lot.
