SCHENECTADY – Demolition began Friday on two properties on Barrett Street, which include the setting up at 1052 Barrett.

The buildings are being demolished by the Funds Area Land Lender and Bronze Speaking to in an exertion to combat blight.

The Capital Area Land Bank and the Schenectady County Metroplex Enhancement Authority have demolished above 200 blighted structures in the latest years to enable revitalize metropolis neighborhoods.
