New Plano restaurant opens with gourmand BBQ and tacos below 1 roof

&#13
On Burnt, he is partnered with Dock chef Tim Halls, who has a longtime enthusiasm for barbecue and will serve as pitmaster.

&#13
“With the pandemic, Dock Nearby was executing food kits, and the No. 1 seller was barbecue,” Curtis says. “I’ve been a seafood person all my lifetime. We ended up undertaking meal kits featuring pasta, prime rib, lobster, but the barbecue was a sellout every time. When we discovered this place in Plano, we reported, ‘Let’s go in advance and do this.'”

&#13
The cafe is compact with seating for 25, but they foresee being mainly to-go, specifically even though COVID-19 lingers.
