Mundelein to offer vacant land to trucking firm for $600,000

Mundelein officials are boosting the town’s coffers by advertising a piece of village-owned residence to a suburban trucking organization for $600,000.

The village board on Monday agreed to offer the roughly 3-acre parcel at 927 Tower Highway to West Wind Specific.

The Bedford Park-centered corporation intends to build a truck terminal and storage yard on the web site, which is in an industrial place south of Allanson Highway.
