Bluffs enhancement in Woodfin moved to August as listening to begins anew

Plans for The Bluffs at River Bend from submissions to Woodfin, for which developer John Holdsworth is seeking a variance to exceed the town's normal 35-foot height limit.

Right after many continuances and an application procedure that dissolved alongside with the board listening to it, a top variance request for the Bluffs enhancement planned for Woodfin will now start anew. 

Developer John Holdsworth is hoping to assemble practically 1,400 new apartments in seven five-tale properties on an 82-acre riverfront home in Woodfin and needs the peak variance to exceed the town’s typical 35-foot limit. 

At the June 24 meeting of the new Woodfin Board of Adjustment, the board voted to continue on the listening to to a date in the upcoming, but didn’t established a strong date, in accordance to City Planner Adrienne Isenhower. 

The final decision to request a 60-working day continuance was to choose the stress off the parties as they navigate the approach with the new board and new hearing, stated Derek Allen, Holdsworth’s attorney.
