Apartment homes planned for site of former downtown Louisville Cadillac dealership

Cadillac showroom into the design.”When you look around downtown Louisville, there aren’t really any new developments that are providing multi-level housing, and we think this fits a perfect need and allows people to capitalize on what’s going on downtown,” said Lanier-Robinson.That’s the type of crowd Thomas Baker with State Farm Insurance says he needs to draw in business to his store front.”It’s an excitement that hopefully with the apartments and other spin-offs will patronize our business,” Baker said.The developer is still waiting to close on the property. They submitted their plans to the city and are expecting to hear feedback before consulting with the community about what they would like to see done.
