132 downtown Spartanburg condominium units receive preliminary approval

A 132-unit condominium sophisticated is becoming planned for Kennedy Street, in effort and hard work to bring life to the southeastern part of downtown Spartanburg.

The Kennedy Avenue Residences prepared for the corner of Kennedy, Union and Advent streets gained preliminary acceptance from the Metropolis of Spartanburg Layout Critique Board Tuesday evening.

“We believe that this is a handsome addition of new housing in a component of downtown that has been lifeless for some time and will be an superb enhance to the extension of the Mary Black Rail/Path alongside Union Road,” the city’s urban design marketing consultant Craig Lewis wrote in a recommendation for the challenge.

The condominium developing would be four stories and have a blend of just one-, two- and a few-bed room models in one building on far more than three acres of land. A pool is planned for the web-site as well.
